We present here for sale Number #28 of 46 Yamaha Petronsa YZF-R1. 46 Units of the PETRONAS Yamaha SRT Replica YZF-R1 will be available worldwide, which comes with an array of upgrades to bring it closer to the specification of the Yamaha MotoGP bike on which it is based. It is engineered by YART . Starting on the outside, the four-cylinder superbike gets a carbon fibre fairing kit, complete with MotoGP- inspired winglets and special livery supplied by the same company that do the race bikes. Hidden beneath that is a racing ECU, which will work in tandem with the quick action throttle for greater acceleration. Helping further and unlocking more of that yowling crossplane crank soundtrack is a full racing exhaust. Away from straight line punch, each bike will also get Ã?hlins FGRT series forks and a TTX rear shock, plus a new steering damper. For faster rubber changes in pitlane, there is also a quick release for the rear wheel. All bikes will be shod with Michelin race slicks upon sale. Stopping power is provided by Brembo, with GP4-RX calipers biting onto chunky T-Drive discs. Brembo have also provided the clutch lever and front remote brake adjuster. Power Unit

The 249cc DOHC liquid cooled single cylinder engine is designed under the concept Light weight, Compact, High-Output and High-Efficiency.
A higher charging efficiency has been achieved by positioning the intake port on the front side of the cylinder and the exhaust at the rear. The cylinder has an inclining angle of 15 degrees to the rear which contributes to the concentration of mass.Positioning the balancer-shaft above the crank-shaft has made the unit compact in overall length.

Frame and Body

Although based on the RS125, the frame has a totally revised stiffness and balance for the new four-stroke unit. The new framework made of high rigidity, light weight 7000 series pressed aluminum alloy, provides optimized flexibility and superb riding control. Revised concentration of mass has resulted in lighter weight and extra room to position a five liter air-box(excluding the oil catch tank capacity).
