Motorcycle Test Ride Event (The “Prize Draw”) Terms and Conditions

1.              THE PRIZES  

1.1.         The Prizes are as follows:

(a) the First Prize is one (1) Honda Super N car (Advanced Electric Model, in colour Boost Violet) with an approximate value of £18,995;

(b) the Second Prize is one (1) Honda Miimo robotic lawn mower (model number 1500 live), with an approximate value of £1,299;

(c) the Third Prize is one (1) Honda Rapid Training Course for the third prize winner and one guest (a one-day intensive motorcycle road coaching tailored to the riders’ needs), with an approximate value of £545;

(d) the Fourth Prize is one (1) Honda Rapid Training Course for the fourth prize winner and one guest (a one-day intensive motorcycle road coaching tailored to the riders’ needs), with an approximate value of £545;

(e) the Fifth Prize is one (1) Honda Rapid Training Course for the fifth prize winner and one guest (a one-day intensive motorcycle road coaching tailored to the riders’ needs), with an approximate value of £545;

(f) the Sixth Prize is one (1) Honda Rapid Training Course for the sixth prize winner and one guest (a one-day intensive motorcycle road coaching tailored to the riders’ needs), with an approximate value of £545;

(g) the Seventh Prize is one (1) Honda Rapid Training Course for the seventh prize winner and one guest (a one-day intensive motorcycle road coaching tailored to the riders’ needs), with an approximate value of £545; and

(h) the Eight Prize is one (1) Honda Rapid Training Course for the eighth prize winner and one guest (a one-day intensive motorcycle road coaching tailored to the riders’ needs), with an approximate value of £545.

1.2.         In respect of the First Prize: (a) the vehicle will be provided by the Promoter to the winner of the First Prize at the On-The-Road (OTR) price, including first registration, vehicle registration fee, and number plates. The Promoter will arrange delivery of the Super N car to a Honda dealership (the exact Honda dealership to be agreed by and between the Promoter and the winner). The winner of the First Prize will be responsible for collecting the Super N car from that dealership in a timely manner (the exact period for collection will be notified by Honda in due course) and failure to do so may result in forfeiture pf the prize and selection of an alternative winner, (b) the winner of the First Prize shall be responsible for arranging and maintaining their own motor insurance before taking receipt of the Super N car from their preferred Honda dealership, (c) Any costs and expenses not expressly included within the On-The-Road price, including but not limited to insurance, charging costs, maintenance, servicing, road user charges, optional accessories, and any ongoing running costs, shall be the sole responsibility of the First Prize winner, (d) The First Prize winner may be required to complete all documentation necessary for vehicle registration, taxation, and handover before taking possession of the Super N car, (e) the First Prize will be supplied by the Promoter with the standard manufacturer’s warranty for such model.

1.3.         In respect of the Second Prize: (a) the winner is responsible for ensuring that their property is suitable for the installation and operation of a Honda Miimo robotic lawnmower, (b) any costs not expressly included as part of the prize, including but not limited to installation, ground preparation, electrical work, maintenance, repairs, replacement parts, consumables, or ongoing operating costs, shall be the sole responsibility of the winner unless otherwise stated by the Promoter (c) The winner will be responsible for collecting the Honda robotic lawnmower from their local lawn and garden dealership in a timely manner (the exact period for collection will be notified by Honda in due course) and failure to do so may result in forfeiture pf the prize and selection of an alternative winner., (d) the Second Prize will be supplied by the Promoter with the standard manufacturer’s warranty for such model, (e) the Promoter accepts no responsibility for the installation, operation, or use of the Honda Miimo following delivery.

1.4.   In respect of the Third Prize, the Fourth Prize, the Fifth Prize, the Sixth Prize, the Seventh Prize and the Eighth Prize: (a) the Honda Rapid Training Course is a one-day intensive motorcycle road coaching tailored to the riders’ needs. It is suitable for all levels of rider from novice to professional and will be delivered by Rapid Training professional coaches. Coaching is delivered nationwide (at selected venues), (b) The Honda Rapid Training Course is provided by Rapid Training Limited, Scottsdale House, 10-31 Springfield Avenue, Harrogate, HG1 2HR. Winners of the Honda Rapid Training Course shall be required to abide by the Terms and Conditions of Rapid Training Limited, which are available here: https://www.rapidtraining.co.uk/terms-and-conditions and which may be updated by Rapid Training Limited from time to time, (c) Winners of the Honda Rapid Training Course and their guests will need to bring their own motorcycles for the motorcycle coaching, (d) Bookings must be made between 1 November 2026 and 30 September 2027 with places subject to availability, (e) the winners and their guests are required to hold a valid motorcycle licence and this is required and at the time of booking and you will be asked what your riding ability and your guest’s riding ability is to make sure suitable coaching is arranged for you both, and (f) The prize does not include travel costs to and from the training location, spending money, lunch, accommodation or personal expenses.

1.5.   In all cases, (i) the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the Prizes with an alternative prize of equal or greater value, (ii) there is no cash alternative available, (iii) the Prizes non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable.

2.             HOW TO ENTER

2.1.         The Prize Draw will run from 09:00 (BST) on Saturday 1 August 2026 to 18:00 (BST) on Monday 5 October 2026 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive. All Prize Draw entries received after the Closing Date shall be automatically disqualified.

2.2.         For entry into the Prize Draw, participants are required to do the following during the promotional period 09:00 (BST) on 1 August 2026 to 18:00 (BST) on Monday 5 October 2026: (1) Book a test ride of any eligible Honda motorcycle or scooter (from the list below) at a Honda dealership in the United Kingdom, Channel Islands and Guernsey, (2) Complete such test ride, (3) Purchase one (1) or more of the Honda motorcycles or scooters listed below (for the avoidance of doubt, a new model must be purchased), (4) Register the motorcycle(s) or scooter(s) purchased in their full (legal) name between the period 1 August – 5 October 2026 inclusive and (5) Visit the prize draw entry form at https://www.honda.co.uk/engineroom/ride-buy-win-competition-2026 to enter their full (legal) name, email address, telephone number, model number(s) purchased and registration number(s) and submit the form.

2.3.         The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the Prize Draw entry form has been submitted.

2.4.         The Promoter shall not be liable for Prize Draw entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

2.5.         Please see https://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/campaigns/ride-buy-win.html for a copy of these Prize Draw terms and conditions. We recommend that you retain a copy of these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions for your records.

2.6.         Prize Draw entries cannot be returned.

3.              ELIGIBILITY  

3.1.         The Prize Draw is open to residents of the UK, the Channel Islands and Guernsey aged 18 years or over, except for (a) to (c) below:

(a)            employees, of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;

(b)            employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Prize Draw or its administration; or

(c)            members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

3.2.         The Promoter will not accept Prize Draw entries that are:

(a)             automatically generated by computer;

(b)            completed by third parties or in bulk;

(c)             illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or

(d)            incomplete.

3.3.         There is a limit of one entry into the Prize Draw per person. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. No purchase is necessary.

3.4.         The Promoter may require proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

3.5.         The Promoter reserves the right to exclude from the Prize Draw any entrant, who in the Promoter’s sole discretion, has breached these terms and conditions or whose conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.

3.6.         By entering the Prize Draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

3.7.         The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are incorrectly completed, lost, delayed or which are not received for any reason.

4.              WINNERS  

4.1.         The Winners of all the above-mentioned prizes shall be randomly selected by the Promoter from all eligible entries on Monday 12 October 2026.

4.2.         The Winners will be contacted by the Promoter on Thursday 15 October 2026. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the Winners as soon as practicable after they have been selected, using the telephone number and/or the email address provided with the Prize Draw entry.

4.3.         In order to claim their prize, the winners must acknowledge (in writing) the email sent by the Promoter within seven (7) days of the date and time of the Promoter’s email. If a prize remains unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the Winners, the Promoter reserves the right to award that prize to a replacement Winner, selected in the same way as the original winner.

4.4.         The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf and the Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize you have won.

5.              LIMITATION OF LIABILITY  

5.1.         The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant resulting from entering this Prize Draw or by any entrant’s acceptance of any prize, or any damage to any entrant’s or other person’s computer or mobile phone equipment as a consequence of entering or downloading any material relating to this Prize Draw. Nothing shall exclude or limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from its negligence or any other type of liability which may not be limited or excluded by law, and to the fullest extent permissible by law, in no event will the Promoter’s total aggregate liability to any winner exceed the cost of the prize that they have accepted.

6.              DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY  

6.1.         Unless you expressly agree otherwise, the Promoter will only process your personal information as necessary for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw, and in accordance with the Honda Privacy Policy and the Honda privacy notice set out in the Schedule to these terms and conditions (“Honda Prize Draw Privacy Notice”).

6.2.         The Honda Prize Draw Privacy Notice explains how and why the Promoter processes your personal data when you participate in the Prize Draw. The Honda Prize Draw Privacy Notice also describes your data protection rights in relation to the processing activities described in this clause, and how long we will retain your data. 6.3.         The Promoter will collect the following personal data from entrants: the entrant’s full (legal) name, email address, telephone number, model number(s) and registration number(s) of the motorcycle(s) / scooter(s) purchased.

6.4.         The Promoter will process this personal data for the following legitimate interests:

(i)         to check and ensure that you are eligible to participate in the Prize Draw;

(ii)        to contact you if you have won; and

(iii)        subject to Clause 6.5 of these Prize Draw Terms and Conditions, to publish the surname and county of residence of the Winners.

6.5       The Winner(s) may request that their details are withheld from publication by emailing campaign@honda-eu.com. Winners’ details shall be retained by the Promoter for a period of 12 months for verification purposes and provided to the Advertising Standards Authority if required.

7.             GENERAL

7.1.         The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7.2.         Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok are not associated with the Prize Draw and do not receive any personal data submitted by entrants.

7.3.         The Promoter is entitled to terminate or modify these terms and conditions at any time and upon giving notice, and reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Draw if, in the Promoter’s opinion, it becomes necessary to do so.

7.4.         These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

PRIZE DRAW – PRIVACY NOTICE

This Prize Draw Privacy Notice is provided by Honda Motor Europe Limited (“Honda”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), whose registered office is at Cain Road, Binfield, Bracknell, RG12 1HL, in our capacity as organiser of the Prize Draw (“Prize Draw”) set out in the above terms and conditions (“Prize Draw T&Cs”). We are a ‘controller’ for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018 (collectively the “Data Protection Laws”). We understand that the security of your personal data is extremely important and we are committed to respecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal data. This Prize Draw Privacy Notice, together with our main Privacy Policy (which can be found at https://www.honda.co.uk/privacy.html containing more information about how we process your personal data and your rights under the Data Protection Laws), applies to you if you participate in our Prize Draw. Separately, the terms and conditions of the Prize Draw can be found at https://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/campaigns/ride-buy-win.html (“Prize Draw T&Cs”).

The details of our processing of your personal data for the Prize Draw are as below:

·            We may collect and process (as required by the Prize Draw T&Cs) your full (legal) name, email address, telephone number, model number(s) and registration number(s) of the motorcycle(s) / scooter(s) purchased in order to register your entry in our Prize Draw.

·            We are permitted to process your personal data on the basis that it is necessary for our performance of the contract you have agreed to enter with us (i.e. the Prize Draw T&Cs). If you do not provide your information to us, we will not be able to register your entry in our Prize Draw.

·            If you are selected as a winner of the Prize Draw, we will contact you to notify you of this, ask you to confirm acceptance of the prize and verify your eligibility (e.g. confirm that you are over 18 years old) in line with our Prize Draw T&Cs. After completing this process, we may require the location of your home address (city or county) to provide you with the Prize and because we are obliged to make the winner’s name and location (city or county) available on our website https://www.honda.co.uk and/or to people requesting that information in accordance with the Prize Draw T&Cs and to comply with the requirements under the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the “CAP Code”). As provided in the CAP Code, the winner can object to us publishing or making available the name or reduce the amount of information published or made available. In order to contact us on this, please email us huk.customer.database.manager@honda-eu.com. Please note that this does not affect our obligation to provide the relevant information and the winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority, the UK’s regulator of advertising, if required to do so.

·            If you are not selected as the winner of the Prize Draw, we will delete your personal data within the period of one month following the completion of delivery of the prize to the winner (or if there are any relevant complaints or issues relating to the Prize Draw and if later, promptly following the resolution of those complaints or issues). If you are the winner of the Prize Draw, we will retain your personal data until 12 months after the completion of delivery of the prize and any related publicity activities. After this date your personal data will be deleted.

·            We also use external providers that process your personal data for this Prize Draw as part of the services which they provide to us. This may include (for example) Honda’s marketing agency that runs the prize draw, a Honda dealer, or a courier or logistics company for despatch of the prizes. We take steps to ensure that our service providers process your data in accordance with the Data Protection Laws, only use it in accordance with our contract with them and keep it secure. ·            We do not transfer your personal data outside the UK and the European Economic Area.

We aim to ensure that the level of security and the measures adopted to protect your personal data are appropriate for the risks presented by the nature and use of your personal data. We follow recognised industry practices for protecting our IT environment and physical facilities.
